Lotte Reimann (DE)
Lotte Reimann (b. 1982, Lower Saxony of Germany) studied fine arts with a focus on photography at the University of Applied Arts Bielefeld and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Amsterdam.
Her work is built on artistic narratives, personal insights and perspectives, and is presented in books and installations. Newly found and already known elements connect easily into open story lines which, on a meta-level, explore power structures between authors and their addressees, photographers and models, as well as the nuances that are continuously emerging alongside the world wide web.
Lotte's works have been shown internationally at Les Rencontres d’Arles, Vice Project Space New York, Fotomuseum Winterthur, Marta Museum Herford, A Tale of a Tub Rotterdam, Museum Arnhem, Petty Thieves Washington D.C., and Foam Amsterdam.
In 2016 Lotte received the C.o.C.A. Foundation Art Prize.
Her artist books, published by RVB Books and Art Paper Editions, are held by numerous collections, such as the MoMA library New York, MACBA library Barcelona, Chelsea UAL, MUDAM library Luxembourg.
